Hi there! I'm Mendi Smith, a born-and-raised North Carolina crafter with a passion for creating unique, personalized pieces that bring joy to everyday life. Growing up in NC, I've always had a creative spirit, spending countless hours crafting special items for my family. Whether we're out on the water fishing, cheering at the racetrack, or enjoying the great outdoors, I find inspiration in the active, adventurous lifestyle that my family and I love to live.
What started as a hobby during some free time has blossomed into something truly special. I discovered that my passion for crafting, combined with an eye for detail and quality, could bring smiles to other families too. Now, I pour that same love and dedication into every piece I create - from scented car freshies that make your daily drive more enjoyable, to custom tumblers perfect for those early morning fishing trips, to beautiful photo slates that capture your precious memories. Each item is crafted with care, attention to detail, and a touch of Southern charm that makes it uniquely special for your family.

Our Business Journey
My journey into crafting started simply and naturally - creating unique pieces for my own home and daily life. The joy I found in designing custom car freshies, tumblers, and photo slates for myself quickly spread to my family, who fell in love with these personalized creations. Before I knew it, I was crafting special pieces for my friends at the race track, sharing my passion for creating beautiful, functional items that added a personal touch to their everyday lives. These early days of giving my creations as gifts helped me perfect my techniques and develop my signature style.
What began as a labor of love started gaining attention at local fairs and festivals, where I discovered that others shared my enthusiasm for quality, handcrafted items. Each event proved more successful than the last, with customers appreciating the care and attention to detail that goes into every piece. This overwhelming positive response has inspired me to take the next step and formalize Crafted 4 You as a business. This exciting new chapter allows me to dedicate more time to my passion, expand my creative offerings, and bring my handcrafted pieces to more people who appreciate custom, quality craftsmanship.
